I wasn't at this Telco conference, but it sounds really interesting.

Today's Telco 2.0 event was a radical departure from that format. Befitting its name, and of interest to the "community" dimension of Forum Oxford, this event was ENGAGING and INTERACTIVE beyond anything I've ever seen.

Plug to the organizer - they certainly deserve it. The event was set up by Simon Torrance (CEO of STL) founder of the Telco 2.0 initiative. We had many of the active members of Forum Oxford in major roles in the event, such as Dean Bubley and Martin Geddes.

Ok, what made it so special. The technology of interaction. The whole event featured these ultraportable laptops with wireless connectivity. All participants were constantly able to provide real time questions, comments and feedback. And the event had polls and surveys as well.
