Recently Google announced their mobile internet ad formats for image banners. They differ slightly in comparison to the ones from the Mobile Advertising Guidelines (April 2008)

This is insane, we have enough to worry about in this space with other real issues.
People should be doing something about this in a group movement the same way they are dealing with Sprint and Openwave
