T-Mobile has demonstrated a huge interested in 2D barcode technology since 2003.

I hope there are no key technology players in the MC2 as that would compromise immediately the endeavor.
The good thing about the MC2 is certainly that it now regroups some of the important telcos. This is needed to have a solid base for propositions and best practices to the 2D barcode technology providers.
So for me it comes down to this: the MC2 proposes standards and best practices (similar to the W3C) for all and the 2D technology providers support it.
